The Sales Engineer (SE) partners with Sales to drive revenue growth by delivering business success to our customers and partners. Daily activities include direct customer and partner engagement; comprehensive discovery, information sharing, and collaborative solution design; proposal development; solution demonstrations; proof-of-concept test design and execution. In this role, you will assist with use case refinement, the utilization of ARGO and future devices, and understanding the DigiLens ecosystem to make software and solution recommendations based on customer specifications. SEs also work collaboratively within DigiLens to highlight emerging customer requirements and use cases, convey the competitive landscape, and coordinate with DigiLens organizations to ensure implementations meet or exceed customer expectations.

This position reports to the Vice President, Sales & Marketing, and is based in Sunnyvale, CA.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Develop technical partnerships to scale customer acquisition, category growth, and customer success for DigiLens products.
Engage with customers to understand their challenges, architect solutions across diverse environments, and drive business outcomes.
Serve as a subject matter expert and technical authority on DigiLens products and offerings, and articulate the value-added benefits to DigiLens’ customers and partners.
Collaborate closely with sales teams and partners to understand customer needs and provide technical guidance and tailored demonstrations.
Customize and deliver compelling product demos and Proof of Concept (POV) engagements that showcase the strength of our solutions.
Design and deliver technical solutions, demos, and integrations to showcase product value.
Develop a general understanding of the DigiLens partnership software ecosystem and make recommendations based on use cases and solution requirements.
Interface with the product teams for new demo requirements.
Assist with developing technical marketing collateral (guides, blogs, presentations, videos, integration papers).
Author and publish technical content (blogs, resource papers).
Contribute to recorded demos and product explainer videos.
Build a general understanding of the DigiLens partnership software ecosystem.
Partner with our engineering, product, and customer success teams to ensure smooth delivery and feedback loops.
Serve as the voice of the customer internally, working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product to ensure partner needs and opportunities are surfaced and addressed.
Expect to travel approximately 30% of the time to meet customers and support in-person engagements.
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Up to 5 years of experience as a sales engineer in high-tech.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Proven track record of success in enterprise or channel sales engineering roles.
Exceptional ability to break down complex technical topics into understandable terms and align technical capabilities to business goals.
Excellent leadership and influencing skills, including the ability to build strong business partnerships both within and outside of the organization.
Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and enthusiastic with excellent follow-up and follow-through.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; highly effective at delivering executive-level presentations.
Strong organizational skills and an ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for innovation, with the courage to nourish “outside the box” thinking to surface and pursue new ideas.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Working knowledge of waveguide technologies, including NIL, Birdbath, and materials-based.
Prior experience scoping SOWs for NRE projects.
Experience working in heads-up display, AR, and/or AI.
Industrial enterprise experience.
Prior experience supporting government and DoD sales.
