Sales Engineer
Minneapolis MN Direct Hire $80k - 90k
Konik is partnering with a mid-west-basedlow-voltage custom design and manufacturing company who is seeking a Sales Engineer to bridge technical expertise with customer engagement supporting inquiries from engineers architects and technical professionals. This role involves preparing cost estimates overcoming technical and business objections coordinating delivery schedules and providing product support from initial inquiry through post-sale service.
Sales Engineer Responsibilities:
Respond to inbound sales inquiries from industry professionals providing product and application expertise.
Review customer specifications and develop accurate competitive quotes.
Address and resolve technical or business concerns raised by prospective clients.
Prepare and process sales orders ensuring timely delivery coordination with production.
Offer technical guidance on the use operation and maintenance of products.
Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategy with production capabilities.
Sales Engineer Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Power Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering (preferred).
2 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
Strong ability to read technical documents and interpret complex information.
Skilled in presenting technical details clearly to diverse audiences.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel) and ERP/MRP systems.
Excellent organizational problem-solving and time-management skills.
