Make a real impact on a global scale! We're partnering with a leading technology innovator to find a skilled Security and Compliance Engineer to join their team. This is your chance to contribute to the security posture of critical cloud-based services, working with cutting-edge technologies and collaborating with a team of experts. Ready to Elevate Cloud Security? In this dynamic role, you'll be a key player in ensuring the security and compliance of cloud services. You'll dive deep into security assessments, identify and mitigate risks, and champion best practices across multiple teams. Your expertise in cloud security will be essential in driving proactive risk management and building resilient solutions.
What You'll Do: Conduct in-depth security and risk assessments for cloud-based services. Document and track risks, ensuring clear linkage to remediation actions. Collaborate with engineering teams to drive risk mitigation and closure. Provide expert technical guidance and hands-on remediation support. Develop and standardize remediation steps, creating reusable guidance. Analyze security and compliance data to identify trends and insights. Leverage automation to streamline risk tracking and compliance validation. Contribute to security and compliance campaigns, aligning with organizational priorities. Manage assigned work and provide timely updates. Must-Haves: You must be a US Citizen. CISSP certification or equivalent (e.g., SANS GIAC certifications). 5+ years of hands-on experience with a leading cloud platform, including familiarity with its security architecture and services. 3+ years of experience in security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis. 1+ year of experience in risk management, with working knowledge of NIST CSF v2 or other relevant control frameworks. Strong understanding of web application security, threats, and mitigation strategies. Proven ability to provide security and compliance support across multiple teams. Experience using data analysis tools for compliance and security telemetry analysis. Experience with automation tools (e.g., scripting, CI/CD integration) to enhance compliance and risk workflows. Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills. Nice-to-Haves: Experience with secure code reviews and static/dynamic analysis tools. Experience securing specific low-code/no-code development platforms. Familiarity with compliance automation frameworks or platforms.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $55 to $60 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
