Leidos is excited to announce our new Navy Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) contract, a significant eight-year project valued at $7.7 billion, designed to enhance and maintain the global networking capabilities of the Navy and Marine Corps. We are looking for a talented Senior Active Directory and Exchange Engineer to play a critical role in our team at our Quantico, VA location. As a Senior Active Directory and Exchange Engineer, you will: Oversee the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, implementation, and account administration of Active Directory (AD), Exchange, Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM), and the Global Address List (GAL). Create, configure, and maintain Exchange databases, mailboxes, address lists, distribution groups, and message routing. Engineer robust solutions to ensure high availability and dependable service. Perform root cause analysis of outages and incidents, developing permanent solutions and coordinating implementations. Manage lifecycle events for Active Directory network group objects including creation, modification, deactivation, and deletion of group objects. Provide expert technical advice and recommendations on Exchange and Windows software updates and vulnerabilities. Establish and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure proper use of information systems. Collaborate on researching, planning, and assessing Windows infrastructure needs, ensuring optimal configuration and maintenance. Act as a liaison for application support and troubleshooting, addressing complex system issues. Create and maintain thorough documentation for all domain technologies, contributing to process improvements and service delivery enhancements. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma with ten (10) years of relevant IT experience, including six (6) years with Active Directory and/or Exchange. Certified in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III. U.S. citizen with a DoD Top Secret security clearance. Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 10, Active Directory, TCP/IP protocols, and Group Policies. Experience with Windows platforms in an Active Directory environment. Strong customer service ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences. Experience managing compliance with license agreements. Knowledge of performance monitoring and optimization for Microsoft Exchange systems. Ability to plan, execute, and maintain backup/recovery systems. Familiarity with Windows credential stores and their security capabilities. Preferred Qualifications: MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification in Productivity or Messaging. Prior experience with Navy NGEN or Marine Corps MCEN. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field, or equivalent military experience. ITIL certifications are a strong plus.
