Key Responsibilities

Robotic System Design & Optimization

  • Architect and enhance robotic automation systems across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.

  • Drive improvements in speed, precision, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Programming & Control Systems

  • Develop, test, and maintain control algorithms for robotic motion and task automation.

  • Code in C++, Python, and other languages for customized automation use cases.

  • Utilize ROS (Robot Operating System) for robotic frameworks.

System Integration & Connectivity

  • Integrate automation into laboratory/industrial environments with LIMS and other platforms.

  • Design communication interfaces for seamless equipment interoperability.

  • Troubleshoot integration and performance challenges.

User Interface (UI) Development

  • Create intuitive UIs to simplify robot control and real-time system interaction.

Testing, Validation & Compliance

  • Conduct thorough system testing for performance, reliability, and safety.

  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

  • Analyze performance data and refine designs as needed.

Documentation & Support

  • Maintain detailed system documentation, user guides, and technical manuals.

  • Support operational teams with training, troubleshooting, and ongoing updates.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of automation/robotics experience, including leadership of full-cycle project delivery.

  • Expert knowledge of robotics principles, control theory, and kinematics.

Technical Expertise
  • Proficient in C++, Python, and familiar with Robot Operating System (ROS).

  • Experience with PLC and SCADA programming is a strong advantage.

  • Proficient in CAD design, control systems, and hardware/software integration.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Adaptable to fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.

  • Base salary: $140,000 $170,000 + performance bonus
