We are searching for an enthusiastic and results-driven Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join our Vulnerability Management and Remediation Operations (VMR Operations) team. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for managing our vast datasets and providing insights that drive strategic business decisions through data. Your contributions will greatly enhance our understanding and management of vulnerability-related tools and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop scalable and robust BI solutions for complex business challenges.
Maintain a strong alignment with business objectives and ensure our work addresses the needs of the organization.
Create and implement data strategies that span across functional teams while considering technical trade-offs for both short and long-term goals.
Utilize Amazon's diverse data resources effectively, knowing when and how to leverage them for maximum impact.
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams to provide actionable insights on current business performance and support ongoing improvements.
Write high-quality code for data retrieval and analysis, crafting rich visualizations that depict business trends, patterns, and anomalies.

Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of professional or military experience.
5+ years of SQL experience.
Experience in programming for data extraction, transformation, and cleaning of large datasets.
Familiarity with design of experiments and statistical analysis.
Proficiency in automation scripting (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to translate data insights into actionable business solutions.
Ability to manage, analyze, and present results to senior leadership effectively.

The base compensation for this position ranges from $117,300 to $202,800 per year, depending on geographic location and individual qualifications. Our total compensation may also include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a comprehensive range of benefits.
