Who we’re looking for The Toyota Financial Services Technology Operations Center (TOC) is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to support and enhance our AWS Cloud environments. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead operational support, troubleshoot complex incidents, and improve reliability across cloud infrastructure. You’ll work closely with our Cloud Engineering and Major Incident Management teams to ensure seamless service transitions, operational excellence, and quick incident resolution for business-critical services. What you’ll be doing Provide expert-level support for AWS cloud infrastructure and services Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across cloud platforms, ensuring high availability and minimal disruption Partner with the Major Incident Management team on real-time issue resolution and root cause analysis Collaborate with the Cloud Engineering team to onboard new services and ensure operational readiness Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and health using CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and similar tools Automate cloud operations using Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CLI, and scripting languages Maintain accurate documentation for support processes, system configurations, and incident response Continuously improve support workflows, automation, and cloud reliability Troubleshoot network and routing issues in cloud environments Support CI/CD workflows and collaborate on scalable cloud architecture improvements Participate in a shared on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 operational support What you bring Strong experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, Route 53, CloudWAN, Redshift, Kubernetes Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible Hands-on experience with Linux, Unix, and Windows systems troubleshooting Knowledge of cloud networking, routing, and security best practices Familiarity with ITSM processes and tools Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams Added bonus if you have Bachelor's degree in IT or related field ITIL Foundation Certification Experience with Docker, Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK stack) Exposure to hybrid cloud and enterprise platforms Familiarity with incident management and observability tools beyond AWS What we’ll bring During your interview process, our team can fill you in on all the details of our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities.
