Summary: In this role, you will design, develop and build, Low and Medium voltage switchgear for generator paralleling applications. Responsibilities: Execute and support the design, test, manufacture, and commissioning of low and medium voltage switchgear that controls multiple generators which parallel to one or more utility sources Provide direction to CAD designers to create wiring and assembly drawings for generator paralleling switchgear controls Interact with internal and external customers, accomplishing project milestones Create bill of materials for generator paralleling switchgear controls in ERP system PLC programming for control systems of generator paralleling switchgear Execute multiple projects simultaneously Technical Skills & Education: 8+ years of relevant industry experience Bachelor’s degree required (in relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) Switchgear experience Control systems and PLC programming – Ability in software development, including coding from scratch (not just modifying existing code) Experience on the shop floor – practical exposure preferred Familiarity with power system operations
