I'm looking for an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to join a global Automation company based in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work on high-impact projects for key customers, while leading teams and sharpening their skills in design, coding, emulation, and commissioning of complex systems.

This is a hands-on engineering role with leadership responsibilities, ideal for someone whos motivated, self-driven and comfortable taking ownership of controls engineering work from design through to commissioning. What Youll Be Doing Lead the design and delivery of complex automation systems, including hardware and software integration Develop material specifications, schematics, and bill of materials Recommend ideas for improving productivity, reducing costs, and boosting customer satisfaction Solve technical challenges and guide others through complex problems Own projects throughout their life cycle - from planning and documentation to execution and forecasting Build and manage robust staffing and execution plans Take accountability for successful project delivery and budget management Commission systems on-site and resolve electrical/control issues as needed Work independently on critical tasks while collaborating with internal teams and customers What Were Looking For Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field 8+ years of relevant experience in controls engineering Strong understanding of warehouse automation, conveyors and sortation systems Proficient in Allen-Bradley PLCs (experience with Siemens is a plus) Skilled in troubleshooting and commissioning controls systems Comfortable leading technical teams and managing project budgets Able to travel up to 40% domestically depending on project needs Whats on Offer Car allowance provided based on project travel and responsibilities Paid time off: 1520 days PTO, plus standard U.S. federal holidays Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan with company match Career development and training opportunities Global exposure and long-term growth within the automation industry Transparent compensation and performance-driven culture If you or someone you know might be a good fit, feel free to reach out.
