GovCIO is seeking a talented Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our dynamic team! In this pivotal role, you will provide operational and integration support for a multi-vendor infrastructure that includes various networks, systems, and cybersecurity vendors. This position offers a blended work environment with an on-site requirement in Tampa, FL, along with opportunities for hybrid remote work based on project needs. Responsibilities: Analyze and correlate threat data from various sources to identify potential threats and hackers active within client networks. Provide comprehensive assessments and reports to clients, enhancing situational awareness of current cyber threats. Develop cyber threat profiles and conduct entity threat analysis. Offer support in computer forensics, including evidence seizure, forensic analysis, data recovery, and network assessments. Maintain expertise in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and emerging trends in cybersecurity. Collaborate with a specialized engineering team on integration and modernization projects for partners in Eastern Europe and South America. Lead the operational and integration efforts for an extensive multi-vendor infrastructure. Document and manage all network, system, and cybersecurity changes, creating necessary documentation for configuration management. Core Qualifications: High School Diploma with at least 9 years of relevant experience. Active Secret or NATO Secret Clearance. Fluency in Spanish (both conversational and written). Proficiency with network drawing tools (e.g., Visio, Lucid, AutoCAD). Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification. Extensive experience in Cyber Network Defense and Cybersecurity Operations. Preferred candidates will possess a relevant Master’s Degree and may have military experience in Signal, Communications, Cyber, or Information Technology.
