Overview Join GovCIO as a Senior Cybersecurity Assurance Engineer, where you'll play a critical role in enhancing the security posture of our clients. This position is fully remote, offering you flexibility while you contribute to vital security initiatives. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies to remediate system vulnerabilities and effectively close identified Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
Update and maintain security documentation for BIES systems to secure and uphold Authority to Operate (ATO).
Collaborate with project teams to gather evidence and address security findings promptly.
Work closely with fellow Information Assurance Engineers to assess system security postures and resolve vulnerabilities.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in information assurance, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is required.
IA baseline certification is mandatory.
Demonstrated expertise in assessing, documenting, and remediating cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to maintain SCI clearance is required.

Note that actual base pay may vary based on individual factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience. This role is full-time.
