We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer who will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence through advanced data engineering tailored for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Position Summary: As a Senior Data Engineer, you will transform business requirements into robust data infrastructure to optimize our customer data acquisition, management, and analytics. You will develop algorithms to transform data into valuable insights and maintain robust database architectures that support our SEO goals. Key Responsibilities: Business Collaboration (20%): Utilize your business acumen to create effective data-driven solutions, building trust with teams and educating partners on advanced analytics. Project Management & Team Support (30%): Work closely with project teams to achieve goals, mentor junior team members, and assist in hiring efforts. Solution Development (35%): Execute tasks efficiently and report on progress, ensuring alignment on insights and recommendations. Technical Exploration & Development (15%): Lead teams in requirements gathering and application development while staying updated on advancements in analytics tools. Travel Requirements: This position may require some overnight travel, ranging from 5% to 20% of your time. Minimum Qualifications: You must be 18 years of age or older and legally allowed to work in the United States. A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. Preferred Qualifications: General understanding of technical SEO. 2+ years of SEO experience. Experience in data engineering, particularly within Google Cloud Platform. 1+ years of enterprise architecture experience. Proficiency in predictive modeling, data mining, data analysis, and generating content with large language models. Hands-on experience with ETL processes, SQL queries, and high-level programming languages such as Python. Able to optimize data pipelines for performance and cost-effectiveness. Strong coaching skills to mentor junior engineers. Preferred Education: A master's degree in a related field. Working Conditions: Most of the time is spent in a comfortable indoor setting, with minimal unpleasant conditions.
