Senior Diagnostics Engineer

Trillium Professional is now seeking a Senior Diagnostics Engineer in Auburn Hills!

Responsibilities:

• Establishing thorough and complete methods to deliver OBD technical requirements to all internal customers
• Mentoring team members on delivering complete OBD requirements for modules and vehicles including successful delivery of requirements to customers
• Ensuring that processes and templates are built, known by the PSO team and applied to produce the Customer approved OBD work-products
• Communicating with teams that support Propulsion Systems OBD (PSO) and Customers
• Ensuring the on-time delivery of the OBD requirements to customers

Pay rate is up to $44.14/hour.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Software or Controls Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in OBD requirements, controls, software, or calibration.
• Proficient using INCA, Matlab and Simulink/Stateflow.
• Understanding of the goals of On-Board Diagnostics.
• Functional understanding of controls, Software and CAN communication.
• Basic proficiency with the major purpose & components in an electrified propulsion system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and business acumen.
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database applications.

Preferred Requirements:

• Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, Software or Controls Engineering.
• Experience presenting to, and communicating directly with Government regulatory agencies.
• Previous Propulsion Systems experience.
• Experience designing and implementing new diagnostics.
• 12 years' experience in OBD requirements, controls, software, or calibration within the electric, gasoline or diesel industry.
• INCA, Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Minitab, C++ and Visual Basic experience.
