Fuss & O’Neill is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our expanding Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) team! This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions across a wide range of building and infrastructure projects. As part of a collaborative and multi-disciplinary environment, you’ll be at the forefront of innovative design work that directly improves the built environment and critical infrastructure systems. This is a prime opportunity for a talented and driven electrical engineer to make a significant impact on high-profile work—including the design and improvement of traditional building electrical systems, generator installations, HVAC system upgrades and replacements, as well as electrical and control systems for wastewater treatment and other utility-related infrastructure. You’ll be working on projects that serve municipalities, institutions, and private-sector clients, all while advancing your career within a supportive and growth-focused.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage electrical engineering tasks across both single-discipline and multi-discipline projects
Conduct site visits and field investigations to assess existing conditions
Develop high-quality electrical design deliverables for new and existing structures, including site infrastructure
Review MEP systems for performance, efficiency, and code compliance
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to deliver fully integrated design solutions
Support and mentor junior staff
Ensure adherence to budgets, schedules, and client expectations
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally within a consulting environment
PE licensure or ability to obtain within one year
Strong understanding of NFPA and State Building Codes (preferred)
Experience with AutoCAD required; familiarity with Revit a plus
Proven project management capabilities are a plus
