Role Overview
The Senior iOS Engineer will work on developing and refining Athena's iOS applications. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in iOS development, a passion for creating exceptional user experiences, and the technical expertise to build reliable, performant, and intuitive applications.
Responsibilities
iOS Development : Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift and Objective-C.. Technical Leadership: Lead the iOS development process from architecture to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Code Quality: Ensure the quality of code through reviews, writing clean, maintainable code, and performing thorough unit and integration tests. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams : Work with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements. Performance Optimization: Optimize mobile applications for maximum speed and scalability. Technical Problem-Solving : Diagnose and existing applications. Continuous Learning : Keep up-to-date with the latest iOS platform and ecosystem developments, adopting new technologies and practices as appropriate. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in iOS development with a strong portfolio of released applications on backend services. Familiarity with iOS Frameworks : Experience with Core Data, Core Animation, Auto Layout, and other iOS frameworks. Understanding of Apple's Design Principles: Strong grasp of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines. Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to tackle challenging technical problems. Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
