The On-Site Senior Service Engineer (FSE) plays a crucial role as a dedicated technical expert, providing real-time support for Lonza Bioscience Instruments and Software Applications at a specific customer site. This role requires timely execution of installation, maintenance, repairs, training, and immediate support requests. The FSE is the primary contact for large-scale installations and strategic accounts, ensuring a high-level service experience. Key Responsibilities: Execute and document all field services, including preventative maintenance, repairs, installations, and training, ensuring customer satisfaction. Conduct IOPQ's, software/hardware updates, troubleshoot, and train in compliance with Quality Manual standards. Install and provide training on Lonza WinKQCL software. Collaborate closely with customer teams during business hours and offer after-hours support as required. Hold regular meetings with the customer to address support, troubleshooting, and service activity reviews. Manage equipment and maintain inventory levels, tools, and company property as per guidelines. Utilize the Field Service Management Application to document service events and ensure timely actions. Facilitate communication of technical information within key departments as necessary. Develop and maintain troubleshooting protocols and content for customers. Coordinate travel and manage field service contracts within assigned territories. Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, SOPs, and billing practices. Support the training of new team members and perform additional duties as assigned. Key Requirements: Minimum of 4 years experience in a laboratory setting with instrumentation and software applications. Hands-on knowledge of endotoxin testing methods applicable in various industries including pharmaceutical, medical device, and environmental. Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and quality systems. Proficient in communication and able to articulate technical concepts clearly. Laboratory skills for pipetting and operating endotoxin testing equipment. Basic math skills for calculations related to endotoxin testing. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools. Ability to manage expenses and travel schedules efficiently. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity supporting our client located in Secaucus, New Jersey. The salary range for this position is $92,000.00 - $148,000.00, with a competitive compensation package including benefits such as medical, dental, 401k, and paid time off.
