What Youll Do Lead firmware and control systems development for hydrogen injection in combustion engines. Create real-time control algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink and generate C code. Integrate and configure ECUs, sensors, and actuators. Debug communication via CAN J1939, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet. Calibrate ECU parameters in real-time with tools like ETAS INCA or CANape. Collaborate closely with combustion engineers for seamless hardware-software integration. Requirements 5+ years in control systems development. 3+ years working with engines, fuel injection systems, or turbine systems. Bachelors in Mechanical, Electrical, or Control Systems Engineering. Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Embedded Coder, ECUs, microcontrollers, and RTOS. Strong debugging, integration, and calibration skills. Preferred Experience with diesel engines. Background in maritime or automotive embedded systems. Knowledge of hydrogen fuel systems or hybrid technology.
