This team is working on a variety of development efforts, including firmware for wireless devices and software applications to support these devices. This Firmware Engineer is expected to come up to speed quickly on the products, tools, and software development environments used within the team. This individual will learn and follow the companies Software Development Processes and coding standards. This Firmware Engineer is expected to deliver quality code that has been documented, tested, and reviewed. This individual will need to be able to design and hold effective design review meetings on the software sub-modules assigned. This individual will report accurate and timely status of the tasks assign and will utilize source code control tool and branching schemes defined to store and integrate the code development. The successful candidate will be expected to interact with all of the functional departments and participate regularly in meetings with engineers and project managers, while providing accurate estimates on assigned tasks and helping with the creation of accurate software schedules or related plans. We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized individual with excellent problem solving skills and a team-player mindset. This is a full time position, with a hybrid work schedule.
