Build highly scalable, efficient and robust trust, and safety platforms and tools.
Understand product objectives to develop web-based application pages optimized for scalability, reliability and responsiveness and to deliver compelling end user experience.
Collaborate with trust and safety specialists, experts, backend and machine learning engineers.
Work on A/B testing frameworks to measure and improve user retention and engagement.
Collaborate with design and product teams to create a world-class user experience.
Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high quality work on a tight schedule.
Mentor junior-level engineers and interns.
Qualifications
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a
related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
Working across all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for the design, development, coding, testing, integration and deployment of complex products and platforms, including backend services and infrastructure services using Go or Java;
Designing and implementing web applications, including front-end UI logic and back-end business logic;
Optimizing performance for JavaScript ( and web apps running in browsers and on servers;
Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create systematic and comprehensive test plans and test cases, including estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing efforts across team members;
Working with cross-functional teams on front-end User Interface (UI) quality and functional improvement by building monitoring services and introducing new or upgraded technology; and
Using unit tests, integration tests, and load tests to ensure quality of delivered software products and continuous software development pipeline. TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Domestic and International travel required up to 5%. Type: Full time, 40 hours/week
