Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with a proven track record in geotechnical investigations, analysis, and project management. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong client communication skills, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. This is a leadership-track position with opportunities to grow into an executive or partner-level role.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from proposal through delivery

Plan and oversee subsurface investigations, laboratory testing programs, and field explorations

Perform geotechnical analyses including slope stability, bearing capacity, settlement, and retaining wall design

Prepare and review technical reports, construction documents, and design recommendations

Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and field staff

Interface directly with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies

Contribute to strategic business development and proposal writing

Participate in company growth initiatives, including potential ownership opportunities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering

Active Professional Engineer (PE) License

8–10+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience

Proven project management experience, including budgets, schedules, and client coordination

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills that pertain to engineering

Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
