The JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPMC) Firmwide Events Team partners with businesses to deliver consistent, high-touch, distinctive client experiences. Our events range from signature global events to small intimate programs, with a focus on new client acquisition, deepening relationships increasing flows, whilst building our brand and adhering to global standards.
As a Senior Java Engineer Vice President you will partner with the Firmwide Events and Marketing teams to coordinate the continued implementation of an end-to-end events management platform technology. You will posses a strong background in designing and implementing scalable backend solutions using Java technologies. In addition, you will work closely with cross-functional teams globally to define requirements and optimize application performance.
Job responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust backend services using Java, with a focus on scalability and performance. Design and implement scalable microservices-based solutions. Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction and user experience. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development. Job requirements, capabilities, and skills: 10+ years of software development Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot framework, and AWS environments. Extensive experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. A knack for benchmarking and optimization. Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git. Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product owners, designers, and platform teams.
