The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior KC-46 Fleet Reliability Systems Engineer to support the Boeing Global Services (BGS) KC-46 SEIT Team in Tukwila, Washington or Everett, Washington . The successful candidate will provide senior reliability and maintainability engineering expertise for the growing KC-46 fleet including both domestic and international customers. The BGS KC-46 program is growing quickly - this is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of KC-46 sustainment. Position Responsibilities:
* Utilizes customer fleet data to provide trends and analysis of in-service failures and removals * Acts as the focal/source of all KC-46 program reliability data * Partners with inter-organizational teams to identify opportunities and potential solutions for reliability improvement projects which can be communicated to program leadership and customers * Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. * Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. * Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. * Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. * Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. * Resolves cross-functional technical issues * Supports occasional travel (
