Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Level Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and resolving complex Jira support tickets, troubleshooting sophisticated technical issues, and providing expert-level support for our applications and services. The ideal candidate should have advanced expertise in SQL/SQL Server, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and batch services. Familiarity with Classic ASP is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor, analyze, and resolve complex Jira support tickets with a focus on timely and effective solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced issues related to ASP.NET (C#) web applications, .NET Core applications, and batch services.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries (SQL Server) to investigate and resolve data-related problems.
• Provide support for batch processing jobs and services.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify root causes and implement robust solutions.
• Oversee the work of mid-level support engineers, ensuring best practices and high-quality support.
• Train, mentor, and assist junior and mid-level support engineers to help develop their technical skills.
• Document technical solutions, workarounds, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt and professional communication. Required Skills and Experience
• 5+ years of experience in a technical support engineering or software development role.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL/SQL Server (writing, debugging, and optimizing queries).
• Extensive hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core web applications.
• Experience with batch processing services.
• Familiarity with Classic ASP is a plus.
• Experience with Jira or similar ticketing/support systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor and train others.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with TFS CI pipelines, Bugherd, Microsoft Clarity, New Relic and general HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience in debugging and maintaining legacy codebases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Ability to write technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
