Senior Manufacturing Operations Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Manufacturing Operations Engineer to drive the development and scaling of our production processes while supporting fast-paced R&D initiatives. You'll collaborate across engineering, operations, and leadership teams to help us achieve our mission of making industrial 3D printing accessible at scale.
3D printing experience is not required - we're seeking smart, motivated engineers who excel in solving complex problems and building world-class systems.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and scale manufacturing operations for the world's first high-throughput autonomous metal 3D printing factory
- Build lightweight, scalable processes that align with production targets, quality goals, and delivery timelines
- Optimize and accelerate post-print workflows to meet demanding customer schedules
- Support integration and servicing of printing systems and factory infrastructure
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and process engineering teams to streamline R&D operations
- Work closely with business and executive stakeholders to create production strategies that exceed customer expectations
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or engineering development in a hardware environment
- Strong background in process implementation and continuous improvement in fast-paced environments
Preferred:
- 7+ years of professional experience
- Hands-on engineering background in manufacturing or system integration
- Experience scaling R&D workflows into full-volume production
- Exposure to metal additive manufacturing or industrial 3D printing
- Knowledge of facility operations including power, gases, and material handling
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite)
- Working knowledge of OSHA and EHS regulations
- Advanced Excel skills
