ASRC Agile Decision Sciences is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.

We are currently seeking Mechanical Engineers to join our team based in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities:

Perform structural analysis, functional analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Generate reports and present to Government counterparts, defense contractors, and other cross-functional organizations
Research, plan, design and develop mechanical products and systems
Apply research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, and/or machines

Basic Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship with an active US DoD Secret Security clearance is required
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5+ years of related experience
Strong background in mechanical design, analysis and environmental testing
Ability to conduct trade studies and present results in written format
Computer aided design experience using Solidworks or equivalent CAD packages
Must be able to support an in-person / closed-area work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

BS in Mechanical Engineering
Specialty Engineering Experience: Environmental and/or Safety.
Experience with mechanical overhaul procedure development at the equipment and system level
Experience conducting analysis of mechanical components and structures involving launch equipment
