Senior Network Engineer

Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Network Engineer for a large enterprise technology company located in San Antonio, TX. The Network Engineer will be supporting the US DoD.  The Network Engineer will need to work on-site in San Antonio, TX, Monday through Friday and is a long term contract opportunity. Responsibilities for the Network Engineer: Work with 3rd party vendors to establish baselines, inventory and understand what is needed Design and deploy routing and switching solutions to support defense operations. Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability. Implement network security measures to protect sensitive defense information. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other defense systems. Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures. Qualifications for the Network Engineer: 5+ Years experience in as a Network Engineer Route/Switch experience - iOS XE, EIGRP, BGP, Spanning Tree, iPv6 iOSXR experience is a plus CCNA/CCNP is a plus Compensation for the Network Engineer: $, - $, Comprehensive Benefits package:  Medical, Dental, Vision, K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays #LI-ZS1 #LI-ONSITE #PANDO This job opens for applications on 1//5.
