Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects of physical design and implementation of GPUs and ASICs for desktop, laptop, workstation, and mobile markets. Participate in establishing physical design methodologies, flow automation, chip floorplanning, power/clock distribution, chip assembly, P&R, and timing closure as part of a team. Design for static timing analysis, power and noise analysis, and back-end verification. Qualifications: BSEE or MSEE or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in large VLSI physical design implementation on 3nm, 4nm, and 5nm technology nodes. Proven track record of delivering designs to production. Experience with power, performance, and area optimization initiatives is a plus. Strong proficiency with CAD tools from Synopsys, Cadence, and Mentor Graphics, including ICC2, Innovus, Tempus, and others. Deep understanding of custom macro blocks like RAMs, CAMs, high-speed IO drivers, PLLs. Experience in timing closure, clock/power distribution, RC extraction, place/route, and tapeout solutions. Strong analytical and debugging skills. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Tcl, and Make is beneficial. We offer a competitive salary range of $136,000 to $264,500, determined by location, experience, and market standards. Employees are also eligible for equity and benefits.
