Responsibilities
Design and develop infrastructure software and tools tailored for large-scale AI, LLM, and GenAI environments.
Research and assess innovative hardware and software advancements to significantly improve AI training and inference performance.
Influence strategic decisions regarding Oracle Cloud's AI infrastructure offerings.
Architect and implement new driver features and APIs that lead the industry.
Analyze and benchmark cutting-edge technologies to identify bottlenecks and enhance training and inference capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of systems software development experience.
Proficient in writing high-quality code in languages such as Java, GoLang, C#, C++, and Python.
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, Infiniband, RoCE, etc.) and operating systems.
Familiarity with CPU and GPU architectures, along with memory coherence and consistency models.
Hands-on experience in coding, capable of crafting efficient, production-quality code and debugging complex distributed systems.
Experience in performance modeling at both the processor and system levels.
Proven success in building and scaling large distributed systems.

Compensation and Benefits: The compensation range for this role is from $96,800 to $251,600 per annum, with eligibility for bonuses, equity, and deferred compensation. Oracle offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision insurance, disability coverage, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) plan with company match, and generous paid time off.
