Responsibilities:

- Provide engineering expertise in the Plating, Image/Soldermask, and Mechanical areas, including process recommendation and modification.

- Mentor and elevate Area Process Engineers by providing guidance, technical support, and performance evaluations.

- Lead quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with Supervisors to address quality-related issues, conducting root cause analysis as needed.

- Drive productivity, cost reduction, safety enhancements, and waste minimization within designated areas.

- Conduct process and operator audits to identify and rectify procedural variations, demonstrating attention to detail.

- Liaise with vendors to address product considerations and resolve issues.

- Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, and Laboratory teams to optimize processes and support manufacturing operations.

- Demonstrate a "Whatever it Takes" mentality to support manufacturing needs, even outside regular working hours.

- Document procedural enhancements and new process implementations for knowledge transfer to engineers and manufacturing staff.

- Possess a Science Degree in a related field with extensive industry experience.

- Interface with CAM, customers, and other engineers to communicate process capabilities and limitations, with a willingness to train in CAM as needed.

- Provide technical support to production staff and resolve operational issues as they arise.

- Maintain computer literacy and technical proficiency.

- Occasionally travel to sister facilities for training and support.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred)
