What You'll Do: The Impact You'll Make As the Senior Structural Project Engineer, you will be the driving force behind complex aviation projects, managing budgets and scopes with fees ranging from $10k to over $1M. You will: Lead and mentor a talented team of engineers and technicians to successful project completion. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and contractors, building and maintaining strong relationships. Develop and manage project work plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring excellence from kickoff to closeout. Coordinate the structural design scope both in-house and with external consultants. Champion quality by developing and implementing project-specific QA/QC plans. Actively contribute to the growth and development of junior staff, shaping the next generation of engineers. What You'll Bring: Your Expertise Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited curriculum. A minimum of 9 years of progressive experience as a Structural Engineer. Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong interpersonal communication skills. Desired Qualifications: Proven experience managing projects from the start of design through to the end of construction. Direct experience working on projects within the aviation industry. Advanced project management, client management, and business development skills. A composed and effective approach to handling complex deadlines and situations.
