Senior Radio Network Engineer

ELITS is now looking for an experienced Senior RF Network Design & Optimization Engineer to lead large-scale wireless network projects. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in 4G/5G radio network design, optimization, and tuning, as well as a proven track record of technical leadership on major projects.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead end-to-end radio network design, implementation, and optimization for large metropolitan or statewide projects.
•Oversee technical activities, organize project teams, and ensure effective communication with internal teams, project managers, and customers.
•Work with diverse wireless technologies including 5G NR, Massive MIMO, mmWave, LAA, 4G LTE, IoT, and CBRS in multi-vendor environments.
•Analyze and optimize network performance using planning tools (Planet EV, Atoll, ACP), drive test data, and optimization tools (TEMS Investigation, Actix, Agilent, R&S).
•Perform event analysis, address accessibility, retainability, and handover success rate issues.
•Recommend improvements in network design, parameter settings, and feature activations.
•Utilize advanced techniques such as Monte Carlo analysis, link budget calculations, and model tuning.
•Identify opportunities for add-on sales and contribute to continuous improvement of tools and processes.
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (BSEE/BSCS), or equivalent experience.
•Minimum 10 years' experience in radio network design, implementation, or optimization.
•Leadership experience on at least five projects, including two large-scale projects as the technical lead.
•In-depth knowledge of 4G/5G technologies, Layer 3 messaging, and RF planning/optimization tools.
•Proficient in MS Office and able to manage project documentation and reporting.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and coordinate with various departments.
•Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively within the US.
Preferred Skills:
•Experience with multi-vendor environments.
•Familiarity with ACP (Automatic Cell Planning) and Monte Carlo analysis.
•Strong understanding of network KPIs, handover optimization, and uplink tuning.

•Ongoing training and certifications are required; all training costs covered.
•Travel time and expenses between worksites are compensated.
