Salary: Open Job Title: Senior Robotics Engineer
THE JOB We are looking for a Senior Robotics Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of next-generation intelligent robotic systems. You will play a key role in architecting robust solutions across computer vision, robotic motion planning, and embedded AI. As a senior team member, youll be expected to guide complex technical decisions, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and systems engineering. If you're passionate about building autonomous systems that work reliably in real-world environmentsespecially those involving occlusions, stacking, or cluttered scenesthis role is for you.
THE DAY-TO-DAY Depending on your technical strengths, your daily responsibilities may include:
Computer Vision Leadership Architect and optimize algorithms for object detection, segmentation, 3D pose estimation, and grasp prediction in real-world scenarios.
Drive the development and deployment of high-performance vision models on embedded systems (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Edge TPU).
Oversee data pipeline management including dataset curation, augmentation strategies, and annotation workflows.
Advanced Motion Planning & Control Develop and validate high-precision robotic arm models (forward/inverse kinematics, dynamics).
Implement advanced trajectory optimization (e.g., RRT, CHOMP, MPC) and sensor fusion for robust control in uncertain environments.
Innovate in grasp planning and adaptive force control for challenging manipulation tasks.
Embedded AI Integration Lead the integration and deployment of edge AI models with low-latency response times.
Develop custom hardware drivers and real-time communication protocols (e.g., CAN, EtherCAT).
Architect embedded system frameworks that ensure modularity, reliability, and scalability in robotics applications.
Technical Leadership & System Integration Serve as the technical lead in cross-functional projects, aligning software, electronics, and mechanical systems into unified robotic platforms.
Review and approve critical design decisions, conduct code reviews, and define system architecture standards.
Collaborate closely with R&D and Product teams to translate concepts into commercially viable robotic solutions.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE You bring deep technical knowledge, creativity, and a systems-level mindset. Youre a problem-solver who thrives on real-world deployment challenges and delivering stable, production-ready robotics solutions.
Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision, robotic motion control, or embedded AI systems.
Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following:
Motion: ROS/ROS 2, D-H modeling, RRT/CHOMP, force control strategies.
Embedded: Jetson/RPi, C/C++, ONNX, CAN/EtherCAT protocols.
Full-cycle experience in robotic system deployment, from algorithm design to real-world operation.
Strong software engineering discipline (e.g., version control, code testing, modular design).
Preferred Qualifications Masters or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience leading technical teams or mentoring engineers.
Proven success in multi-sensor fusion and real-time system design.
Publication, patents, or open-source contributions in robotics or AI.
WHY JOIN US Youll work on industry-defining products that integrate cutting-edge AI and robotic manipulation.
Be part of a collaborative team that values experimentation, precision, and real-world impact.
Lead the frontier of human-compatible roboticsbuilding systems that not only work, but understand the environment.
