Opportunity overview:

This role is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact team within our client's Digital Security and Resilience (DSR) organization. You'll lead initiatives that shape the security posture of cloud and on-prem infrastructure, developing standards-based and custom security baselines that protect critical systems at scale.

Typical Day in the role:

The Senior Security Engineer will improve and expand the security of our client's cloud and on-prem infrastructure through security controls and tools leveraging both (Microsoft) security products and custom tooling that are both standards and non-standards-based requirements. As part of a high impact security team, you will be empowered to lead and work across organizations to raise the bar for protecting the cloud and on-prem infrastructure. This involves creating these settings internally to address security risk gaps.

This role will contribute to creating configuration settings for various platform technologies to secure company, focusing on high-level security requirements and the development of baselines, which are collections of configuration settings that align with these requirements.

How you will make an impact:

• Lead the development of security configuration settings and baselines for Microsoft platforms

• Collaborate across teams to align on standards, processes, and technologies

• Identify systemic security gaps and define plans to close them

• Drive automation and secure-by-default infrastructure practices

• Serve as a trusted technical voice in enterprise-wide security initiatives
  

The expertise you bring:

• 10+ years of overall experience in cybersecurity and infrastructure security

• 5+ years in technical program/product management or software engineering

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud and on-prem infrastructure security operations

• 3+ years of experience with security configuration and tooling at scale

• Experience owning large network/security architecture at a major cloud or service provider

• U.S. Citizenship required
