In this key role, you will act as an authority in information security services, technology, and applications. Your expertise will guide management and your colleagues on technical concerns related to the security of system applications, data, and networks. Additionally, you'll offer valuable advice to divisions and customers to enhance security operations across various systems and hardware platforms. Your focus will be on designing and integrating security measures for complex applications, systems, and networks, with the aim of mitigating vulnerabilities and reducing the risk of system and asset breaches. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based information system security controls, ensuring proper documentation of their operations and outcomes.
Analyze and recommend effective security controls and procedures throughout the acquisition, development, and change management lifecycle, ensuring compliance.
Manage authentication and access controls, perform regular reviews of exception reports, and take necessary actions to maintain system integrity.
Monitor information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities, report findings, and respond to incidents, including investigations and recovery efforts.
Collaborate with senior security engineers and stakeholders to sustain strategic roadmaps for the Information Security program, analyze threat and compliance landscapes, and execute risk mitigation plans.
Develop and implement comprehensive information security governance, including policies, procedures, standards, and training programs.
Commit to personal development through individual growth plans and mentorship, while advocating for C.H. Robinson's security initiatives.
Provide support and documentation for vendor relationships.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: 5+ years of technology experience.
3+ years in information security/network experience.
Proven track record of technical achievement with a strong emphasis on customer service and satisfaction.
Solid experience with Active Directory, Linux, and Windows client/server environments.
Familiarity with security technologies and implementation of security products (firewalls, AV systems, IDS/IPS, web content filtering, Microsoft Windows system security services).
Working knowledge of public cloud workloads and SaaS applications.
Experience with identity and access management (MFA, identity lifecycle).
Understanding of best practices in security engineering, including secure development, cryptography, network security, security operations, systems security, policy, and incident response.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience and a high school diploma/GED.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience securing cloud workloads and SaaS systems.
Knowledge in securing public cloud environments.
Experience with forensic investigations.
Familiarity with PKI and certificate management.
Experience with two-factor authentication technologies.
History of managing and utilizing metrics, processes, and measurements for support activities.
Experience with encryption technologies and methods.
Vendor management experience and coordination of vendor activities.
Understanding of wireless technology and portable device security.
Aptitude for performing technical analysis of complex software, systems, hardware, and network environments.
CISSP, Cisco, Microsoft, or other security certifications.

Compensation Range $108,900.00 - $183,800.00 The displayed base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific position. Your individual base pay will be determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
