As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be part of the Digital Security and Resilience (DSR) department supporting critical security initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Senior Security Engineer Location: Redmond, WA (Remote) Pay Range: $66.80 - $73.hr on Experis W2 What's the Job? Lead efforts to improve and expand the security of cloud and on-prem infrastructure through innovative security controls and tools. Develop configuration settings for various platform technologies to secure Microsoft, focusing on high-level security requirements. Identify systemic areas of opportunity and define plans to close security gaps across Microsoft’s organizations. Collaborate with teams to develop security baselines, controls, and procedures for implementation. Drive automation and advocate for secure-by-default environments. What's Needed? 10+ years of overall experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on technical roles. 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud security and network/server security. 5+ years of experience in identity and access management. Experience in creating security requirements and baselines rather than compliance assessments. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality work.
