The Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) is seeking a talented Senior Signal Processing Engineer to be part of our expanding team in Arlington, VA, or San Diego, CA. In this role, you will lead the charge in researching, designing, and developing state-of-the-art signal collection and processing systems. Your expertise will contribute to the analysis and extraction of critical information from signal sensors. You will play a key role in defining program objectives, leading technical teams, and engaging in business development initiatives. Responsibilities Include: Developing cutting-edge algorithms and conducting performance simulations using both simulated and real data across time series and spectral domains. Taking on the role of Technical Team Lead to guide and mentor team members. Contributing to marketing and business development efforts, crafting innovative technical solutions for proposals (e.g., BAAs, RFPs). Participating in lab-based and field testing to validate system performance. Managing multiple projects and effectively communicating results through briefings and written documentation to your team, customers, and management. Join us to make a significant impact in Advanced Warfare Technology! Basic Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret clearance and the capability to obtain a TS/SCI level clearance. Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. Proficiency with tools such as MATLAB, Linux, Mathematica, Python, Simulink, and programming languages like C/C++ and Java. Strong understanding in areas such as digital filtering, spectral estimation, detection and estimation theory, linear algebra, and stochastic processes. Demonstrated leadership experience managing small, multidisciplinary technical teams or projects. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Experience in Electronic Warfare, SIGINT, or radar fields in a technical leadership capacity. Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree in a related field. Experience with business development and capture initiatives. Background in a Research and Development (R&D) environment. Note: The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $260,000 for qualified candidates with an active clearance who can obtain a TS/SCI clearance. This role requires on-site work in our Arlington, VA, or San Diego, CA offices.
