What you'll be doing:
The Senior Silicon Power Performance Engineer focuses on developing and productizing power, performance, and thermal control mechanisms for all GPU, CPU, and SoC products. In this position, you will:
Lead multi-functional teams to validate and implement silicon power and thermal features.
Debug power limiting constraints and drive efficient, product-specific customizations to overcome them.
Deliver system-level power optimizations across silicon, platform, software, and manufacturing for products ranging from large-scale datacenters to low-power client devices.
Partner with SSG's internal tools team to improve modeling and analysis infrastructure, test procedures, and implement new methodologies.
Collaborate with system architects, chip and board designers, software/firmware engineers, design/power architecture engineers, product definition engineers, and ATE engineers to bring industry-defining products to market.
What we need to see:
BS or MS in EE, CE, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in product performance measurement, power debugging, and analysis.
Background with system-level feature implementation, performance per watt optimization, thermal policies, and data analysis tools.
Experience with system-level silicon bring-up, validation, DVFS, power characterization, modeling, and performance optimization.
Knowledge of digital design, circuit analysis, CPU/GPU/SOC architecture, PTPX, process technologies, and transistor physics.
Experience with power correlation, modeling, lab tools (like DAQs, oscilloscopes), and HW/SW power management features.
Experience working with offshore teams is required.

The base salary range is $168,000 - $310,500, determined by location, experience, and market conditions. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
