Participate in the firmware development process from initial conception through validation to production. Contribute to firmware development, device characterization, and benchmarking efforts. Key Responsibilities: Our Infrastructure Services team oversees the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring seamless cloud operations. You will engage with a diverse group of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, and experts in various fields. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience. 5+ years of programming experience with at least one language. 5+ years of leadership in design or architecture of new and existing systems. Experience mentoring, leading, or managing an engineering team. 3+ years of programming in C, C++, or assembly language on embedded systems. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and testing. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. Strong understanding of SSD hardware architecture and concepts. 10+ years of experience developing firmware for SSDs or related storage devices. Our comprehensive compensation reflects labor costs across various US markets, with base pay ranging from $151,300 to $261,500 based on location and experience.
