Senior Software Engineer

Coders Connect is partnering with a trailblazing biotech company that's leveraging real patient biology and AI to accelerate drug discovery. Their platform maps how therapies affect human cells in vivo, creating one of the world's largest perturbation atlases to train next-generation foundation models.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Maintain and scale cloud-based data pipelines in production
• Provide DevOps support to ML and research teams
• Administer cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and GPU scheduling (e.g., RunAI)
• Collaborate with bioinformaticians, ML engineers, and scientists on complex data flows
• Build scalable software systems for high-throughput biological data analysis

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong Python skills and Linux proficiency
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker)
• Familiarity with pipeline orchestration tools like Metaflow or Snakemake
• Exposure to big data environments and scalable system design

Bonus Points For:

• Background in bioinformatics or healthtech
• Experience supporting regulated industries (e.g., life sciences)
• Familiarity with R or data visualization in biology
