: The Role Fidelity Investments has an exciting opportunity to work with our Fidelity Prime Services team! This is a Senior Software Engineer position, developing robust test automation solutions and functional testing of innovative software designed for Fidelitys internal and external clients. You will collaborate closely with other software developers, architects, and our Capital Markets product team members to transform vision and designs into sustainable business solutions. The Expertise We are Looking For Solid experience testing brokerage trading applications Hands on experience with crafting and maintaining java-based test suites that utilize Selenium, Cucumber and JUnit to test Web UI applications. Running automation in a CI/CD pipeline. Experience with Git + GitHub, CI/CD orchestration tooling (Jenkins Core), Artifact Management (Artifactory, Git/Stash or similar) Strong SQL experience - candidate must be able to write and execute complex queries. Expertise in web services testing and proven experience with Rest API Understanding of Cloud Computing and DevOps concepts including CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins. Experience with Agile software development methodologies, delivery projects, implementation, and Agile tools like JIRA The Skills You Bring Multi-stack engineer with knowledge in a breadth of technologies and test automation frameworks (Java, Cucumber, JavaScript/Angular, HTTP, RESTful web services) A technical background and ability to troubleshoot problems and identify root causes Willing to take initiative, pragmatic and results-oriented Problem solver, beyond problem detection A collaborative team player who can work across local and distributed teams Ability to communicate, mentor, and teach others Demonstrate ownership and accountability through self-directed task management Actively participate in the development process through writing and maintain application features and automated tests including unit tests, component tests, integration tests, functional tests, performance tests, scenario tests and interoperability tests

Advocate for agile methodologies, audit compliance, driving efficiency, automation, and improvements across the software development lifecycle. You will work with developers in your squad to understand the technical implementation of the product and can understand and review their code You develop and maintain automation code that will be used by your squad to do regression testing You can reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes You reinforce testing and quality control standards Finding opportunities to ensure top quality deliverables while maintaining a focus on automation Collaborate with team members on improving team's test coverage The base salary range for this position is $97,000-$154,000 per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidates relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
