Senior Software Engineer - Medical Imaging Visualization, C++ We are a rapidly growing, Boston-based medical technology company using AI to enable clinicians to make informed decisions on cardiovascular care, leading to better patient outcomes, improved quality of care, and reduced healthcare costs. Our visualization and applications development team is creating state-of-the-art software solutions for accurate quantification and interpretation of cardiovascular disease. We seek an experienced engineer with expertise in C++ and medical visualization to build new features and improve application efficiency and performance through advanced multi-threaded programming. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Strong C++ skills, including design principles, patterns, OOP, templates, and multi-threading. Experience in radiology and medical imaging applications (CT/MR), with knowledge of standards like DICOM. Quick learner and team player, capable of collaborating with developers, architects, and product owners in a fast-paced, global environment. Knowledge of computational geometry and 3D computer graphics. Experience with VTK, OpenInventor, OpenGL, CUDA, or similar rendering/high-performance libraries. Understanding of TCP/IP socket communication. Working knowledge of relational database schema design. Proficiency in Python. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and interface architecture. Familiarity with source control (GitHub or similar) and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes. Familiarity with Linux OS is strongly preferred. Work Location This role is based in Boston, MA. We operate in a hybrid model with regular in-office collaboration for local candidates. Remote candidates outside Boston are welcome to apply as fully remote.
