Job Responsibilities: Develop mobile software for class III active medical implants, covering all phases from concept to field testing. Stay updated on mobile development technologies, recommend platforms, APIs, and tools. Collaborate with firmware engineers to define software architecture and interfaces. Work with clinical teams to create user guides, review colleagues' work, and provide constructive feedback. Education and Experience: BS in Computer Science or equivalent, with at least 6 years of experience. Hands-on experience with C# and at least one of the following: Swift, Java. Experience in mobile app development (Xamarin or other cross-platform tools). Knowledge of .NET, .NET Maui, CSS, and Object-Oriented analysis is highly desirable. Some familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit), Android SDK, iOS SDK. Experience with configuration management and issue tracking. Desired experience with BLE communication, AWS Cognito, REST APIs, and medical device development. Ability to troubleshoot software and systems, meet deadlines, work in multidisciplinary teams, and communicate effectively. Knowledge of medical device safety and internet security is a plus.
