Senior Software Engineer, Modeling & Simulation Clearances Required: Active DoD Secret Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States
TCS is searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join our strong team of Simulation Developers supporting our Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) customer in Huntsville, AL. The GMD program is a portion of the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) system to protect the US and our allies from ballistic missile attack. The selected candidate will use modern development automation and management tools to create high-fidelity modeling and simulation tools. Required: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field with 2 years of experience. Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, and deployment Demonstrated experience in Modeling and Simulation Demonstrated experience with C++ Experience with at least one of the following programming or scripting : C, GoLang, Ada, and/or Python Experience with two or more of the following tools: Jira, Crucible, Bitbucket, Subversion, Bamboo, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Fortify, or Coverity Full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming. Demonstrated experience with Git, GitLab, or GitHub and CI/CD pipelines. Agile software design experience and be able to create/consume stories within a sprint structure. Experience working in a Linux operating environment. Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance.
