Job Description Senior Software Engineer (SS&C Technologies, Inc.; Boston, MA): The Senior Software Engineer is based at SS&C's office in Boston, Massachusetts, with a telecommuting benefit. The incumbent must reside within commuting distance from SS&C's Boston office. The Senior Software Engineer will work on the Eze Marketplace platform, responsible for developing scalable, maintainable, and testable systems hosting various partner applications within Eze Eclipse and Eze OMS. This role utilizes the latest front-end and back-end technologies within a highly automated CI/CD environment. Specific responsibilities include: Working closely with teams, project, and product managers to deliver scalable REST & GraphQL services using GoLang & Node.js; Developing and implementing data models for applications and services to ensure scalability and maintainability (Relational and Document Databases); Building and maintaining critical components of Eze Marketplace such as APIs, API Gateway, API Gateway plugins, Authentication & Authorization subsystems; Identifying improvements and participating in innovating Petitioner's tools and services foundational to the product; Practicing TDD & BDD during feature development and refactoring; Providing operational support by fixing production issues, onboarding partners' applications, and communicating with external partners; Demonstrating features during team meetings; Collaborating to articulate and prioritize project requirements; Reviewing code and providing constructive feedback; Enhancing CI/CD pipelines and application monitoring. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field plus 5 years of experience in software engineering. Alternatively, a Master's Degree plus 3 years of experience. Must have: 3 years of experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, AngularJS), server-side development with object-oriented or functional languages, requirement analysis, architecture development, documentation tools, deployment practices, version control (Git/SVN), debugging tools, AWS technologies, and working in a DevOps/Agile environment. Proven ability to deliver scalable RESTful and GraphQL services.
