The Role The Senior Software Engineer - Service Assurance is vital in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that enhance network reliability and incident management in telecom operations. This position involves leading development efforts, optimizing service assurance platforms, and driving innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency. Main Responsibilities Software Development & Architecture: Design, develop, and enhance service assurance software solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and resilience. Automation & AI Integration: Implement AI/ML-driven automation strategies to optimize fault detection, incident management, and predictive analytics. System & Network Monitoring Enhancements: Develop solutions that improve network reliability, real-time monitoring, and performance optimization. Collaboration & Technical Leadership: Work closely with operations, engineering, and business teams to align software solutions with strategic goals. Code Quality & Best Practices: Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to software development best practices. Cloud & API Development: Build scalable applications with cloud technologies and API-driven architectures for seamless integration. Security & Compliance: Ensure all software solutions comply with cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements. Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Guide junior engineers to foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning. What We Look For in a Candidate - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in telecom or service assurance. - Strong programming skills in Java; knowledge of Go and Python is a plus. - Expertise in cloud-based architectures, APIs, and building containerized and microservices. - Experience with automation, AI/ML, and predictive analytics in service assurance. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. - Familiarity with managing enterprise CI/CD workflows, including GitHub, linting tools, and Jenkins. Compensation This role is designated as fully remote within the United States. Compensation ranges based on location: $103,711 - $138,281 in select states. $108,896 - $145,195 in additional states. $114,082 - $152,109 in higher cost of living states.
