Halff has an open position for a Senior Structural / Building Engineer, with a Texas PE License, to be a Senior Project Manager on our growing Structural team based out of our Fort Worth, TX location. This position is for an individual with at least 8 years of experience in Structural / Building Engineering interested in working on vertical construction building design projects. What you will do:
- Will design complete projects such as buildings, hydraulic structures, Civil Structures, and vehicular bridges
- Will manage production of construction drawings for own work
- Will review contractor submittals during construction
- Will manage project budgets
- Will coordinate effort with clients as well as in-house engineers and architects
- Will assist in training less experienced staff
- Will provide CAD assistance when necessary
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- Master's Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree preferred
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Structural / Building Engineering with Vertical Construction, Bridge and Building Design
- PE License in Texas, or able and willing to obtain within 6 months of starting date
- Experience managing structural design and plan production
- MicroStation, Revit or AutoCAD training is a plus
