Position Summary: Lead model-based systems engineering and architecture efforts for the Air Force's flagship airborne node, delivering flight-ready capabilities for Major Release. Drive requirements management, technical baseline maintenance, and integration leadership across hardware, software, and operations domains1. Key Responsibilities: Lead creation and upkeep of the government-owned SysML / CAMEO model, DoDAF views, and interface-control documents (ICDs) capturing hardware, software, and operations interactions with Digital Infrastructure (DI), SATCOM links, and cross-domain solutions. Ensure traceability of every requirement to verification method and mission threads supporting CJADC2 and Operational Imperative #2 objectives. Elicit, decompose, and manage stakeholder needs in DOORS-NG or equivalent. Chair requirements reviews, delta boards, and configuration-control boards. Maintain the technical baseline and drive change packages through digital workflows, preserving model/document synchronization. Partner with IPT leads to translate digital designs into Integration SIL builds and resolve interface issues surrounding cross-domain, crypto, power, and data-bus. Feed schedule, maturity, and performance metrics into Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and digital dashboards. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Systems, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, or related field. Minimum 8 years of systems engineering experience on DoD C4ISR, avionics, or open-architecture programs, including requirements management, architecture, and integration. INCOSE CSEP / ESEP or DAU ENG/SAE Level III certification preferred.
