We are seeking a skilled Senior Systems Engineer to enhance our mission planning software for aircraft and weapons systems during both development and sustainment phases. Join us full-time on-site to make a meaningful impact. Travel: Some travel may be required. Clearance: An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is needed for this position. Applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for classified information access. US Citizenship is required. Requirements: Minimum of ten (10) years in Systems Engineering related to DoD aircraft or weapons systems, focusing on design, development, integration, and system testing of computer hardware and software. Proficiency in decomposing requirements into technical system and software requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills, alongside excellent critical thinking abilities. Responsibilities: Assess new capabilities, updated hardware, and software to ensure they meet system and mission performance requirements. Develop and critique H-60 software requirements during the development and sustainment phases based on program office information. This involves conducting trade-off studies, engineering approach analyses, and system implementation analyses. Provide recommendations on human systems engineering. Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience with DoD Systems Engineering Technical Reviews, Systems Software, Systems-of-Systems engineering, model-based systems engineering, and systems safety & reliability. Familiarity with Mission Planning Software, DOORS®, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, as well as agile project lifecycle. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Discipline. Compensation: Compensation at SimVentions is based on various factors including experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies. The projected annual salary range for this position is $115,000.00 - $175,900 (USD).
