Join us as a Senior Systems Engineer responsible for the design, development, and implementation of new and existing systems and sub-systems for use in various navy applications. This position offers an opportunity to develop some of the world’s most highly power dense solutions, work on unique applications, provide technical oversight and guidance, and mentor and coach upcoming engineers. What You Will Do
Analyze and apply customer and military specifications to ensure product and project compliance, utilizing a requirements traceability matrix (RTM) to drive design efforts.
Conceptualize the architecture of complex systems, subsystems or assemblies including interface requirements between system and subsystems.
Apply systems engineering methods to design products effectively and efficiently from a component up to the system level.
Application of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes and tools, as well as a digital engineering environment to the design and development of systems.
Ability to plan, direct, and supervise systems engineering tasks for a team associated with the analysis, design, development, and implementation of new and/or existing systems/sub-systems, including architectural design and requirements engineering.
Document component and subsystem specifications and material requirements.
Interact with technical management, other professionals, technicians, and support personnel to coordinate, recommend, and confer regarding technical activities and progress on large projects.
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of related experience
Proficient in model-based systems engineering tools including languages like SysML or UML as well as specific tools like Cameo or MathWorks Systems Composer
Proficient in digital thread engineering tools like Synedia
Experience with Navy applications and market
U.S. Citizenship required. This position may require an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
