  • Troubleshoot Like a Pro: Perform advanced diagnostics on complex hardware, software, and network issues. Solve problems ranging from device failures to routing misconfigurations.

  • Install & Configure: Handle setup, upgrades, and customization of IT hardware/software - including servers, desktops, cabling, peripherals, and mobile devices.

  • Manage Networks: Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, DNS, VPNs, wireless technologies, and other core systems.

  • Mentor and Support: Guide tech staff and provide support desk escalation assistance when needed.

  • Project Leadership: Participate in the design, planning, and implementation of network infrastructure projects - from basic upgrades to complex deployments.

  • Partner with Sales: Collaborate with the Sales team to develop and present technical proposals and strategic technology plans to clients.

  • Be a Trusted Advisor: Communicate regularly and clearly with clients to ensure they understand the value of their IT environment and future recommendations.

What You Bring
  • Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Active Directory

  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing/switching, and firewall technologies

  • Hands-on experience with backup, patch management, and endpoint security solutions

  • Familiarity with Exchange, remote access technologies, virtual environments, and messaging systems

  • Ability to adapt across multiple platforms and applications (Windows, Linux, macOS)

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and diagnostic instincts

  • Client-focused mindset with excellent communication and documentation skills

  • Experience leading or mentoring technical staff is a plus

Education & Experience
  • Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • 3+ years working in a Microsoft network environment

  • Experience with systems planning, disaster recovery, and fault-tolerance design is preferred

Other Requirements
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and valid insurance for on-site client visits

  • Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs) as part of setup and maintenance tasks

Why Join River Run?
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package

  • Opportunities for professional development and certifications

  • Supportive, collaborative team environment

  • Exposure to a wide variety of client industries and tech environments
